I thought we had only 10 commandments
But now it seems there’s double that.
Surely all 20 had God’s endorsement
And if Is so, where were the missing at?

On Mount Sanai Moses made no mistake
Carrying 20 tablets was too great a load
And carrying them all, half might break
So he took only ten about which we were told

Now 11 to 20 are kind of secular
But they warn us of new ways to sin.
We may go to hell for acts vehicular
By not observing driver discipline?

But there’s danger if we spread the word
By posting them for public view
Will an old familiar voice be heard
That challenged by the ACLU?
